A Career-Defining Opportunity

Are you an experienced HR Advisor with a passion for Employee Relations and looking for an opportunity that offers genuine development and progression?

We're partnering with a hugely successful Liverpool-based business that is continuing on an impressive growth journey. Financially strong, ambitious, and investing heavily in its people function, this organisation offers the chance to join a high-performing HR team at an exciting time.

This is far more than a typical HR Advisor role. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of employee relations matters, work alongside experienced HR professionals, and have the opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive and collaborative environment. With the scale and growth plans of the business, there is also a strong possibility for this role to become permanent.

The Role

As HR Advisor, you'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR advisory service, partnering with managers across the business and supporting a broad range of people matters, with a particular focus on Employee Relations.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a varied ER caseload from start to finish.
  • Advising managers on disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management and suspension cases.
  • Supporting managers through formal HR processes and ensuring a compliant, consistent approach.
  • Preparing HR documentation and maintaining accurate records.
  • Liaising with Occupational Health providers and supporting wellbeing-related cases.
  • Assisting with Employment Tribunal administration where required.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider HR team to deliver an exceptional HR service.

About You

We're looking for an HR professional who enjoys Employee Relations and thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor role with significant ER exposure.
  • Confidence managing complex employee relations cases independently.
  • A sound understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to influence, coach and support managers effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

What's on Offer?

  • 18-month fixed term contract with strong potential to become permanent
  • Salary of circa £35,000
  • Opportunity to join a highly successful and growing organisation
  • Exposure to a broad range of HR and Employee Relations matters
  • Genuine progression and development opportunities
  • Supportive, collaborative and experienced HR team
  • A role that will significantly enhance your HR career

If you're looking for a role that will accelerate your HR career and provide exposure, development, and progression within a thriving organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
